Micromax has introduced a new lineup of hybrid devices that are a blend notebook and tablet. The company has launched the Canvas Laptab, priced at Rs 14,999. The hybrid running on Windows 8.1 will go on sale exclusively via Amazon India on May 6.
The Canvas Laptab features a 10.1-inch WXGA IPS display and is powered by Intel Atom Z3735F clocked at 1.83GHz paired with 2GB of RAM. Camera shapes up in the form of a 2-megapixel fixed focus sensor at front and back. Micromax has fitted the device with a 7,700mAh battery pack, which is said to deliver 10-hours of battery life.
It sports the usual bunch of connectivity options including 3G SIM card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and microUSB port. The Laptab also features a direct USB port for plugging in compatible peripheral devices.
The Laptab comes preloaded with goodies from Microsoft which includes Windows 8.1 and Office 365.
